With more than 20 years of experience in marketing strategy, brand positioning, and business advisory, Terry brings a unique perspective on how home service companies are perceived by buyers and valued in the marketplace. His experience spans both local home service brands and national enterprises.

James Purgason - V2 Strategy Advisors Founder

James Purgason

With over 14 years of experience as a CPA at nationally recognized firms, culminating in his admission to partnership, James has built a career at the intersection of accounting, finance, and transaction advisory. After joining a fledgling CPA firm, as their 4th member admitted to partnership, James led the tax and transaction advisory practices, resulting in firm revenue tripling in under three years, which played a key role their successful exit to a top 25 firm nationally recognized CPA firm.

James has also served as CFO for a private equity commercial real estate investment firm and a portfolio of operating companies, giving him firsthand experience managing growth, capital, and complex financial decisions. As a general partner, he has participated in the development of over $50M in commercial real estate.

He brings a practical, numbers-driven approach to advising business owners — combining deep accounting expertise with real-world transaction experience. Over the course of his career, James has advised on more than $500M in total transaction value.
